These terms cover www.returnit.co and, in outline, the Returnit Shopify app and WooCommerce pilot. They are plain-language terms for a South African business. The cofounders should review them, and the TODOs, before relying on them as a contract.
Returnit helps South African Shopify merchants take returns on WhatsApp and/or from the store account.
Customers submit the item, reason, and evidence. The merchant chooses a customer resolution (refund, exchange, or store credit) and an item disposition (relist, restock, scrap, or donate). Merchants approve outcomes. Returnit does not auto-refund without the merchant's configuration. WooCommerce merchants can join a pilot at app.returnit.co, where customers start from My Account on a hosted form, not WhatsApp.
Start with a 1-month free trial, then US$99/month + US$25/month per physical Shopify POS store.
That is the published plan on the pricing page.
You keep your own return policy, rules, and exclusions.
Screens on this website that show sample customers, confidence scores, or recovered amounts are illustrative. They are not a promise of results for your store.
Do not misuse the website or the app, attempt to disrupt them, or submit information you do not have the right to share (including customer evidence).
TODO: Confirm the liability cap and warranty wording with counsel. Until then, this website describes the product and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a specific recovery amount.
These terms are written for a South African business and with POPIA in mind. TODO: Confirm the governing law and the courts or dispute process once the contracting entity is confirmed.
