Returnit is a Shopify returns app with WhatsApp intake for South African fashion merchants. Loop Returns publishes a returns product for Shopify brands, including a web returns portal. This page only uses Loop statements from Loop's public pages.
Who each product is for
Returnit is for South African fashion and apparel merchants on Shopify.
Loop's public pricing page is written for brands choosing a Loop plan, and lists returns software among the items on that page. Loop's install guide describes connecting a Shopify store and choosing a returns portal URL.
Returnit: South African fashion merchants on Shopify, with merchant approval on every outcome.
Loop Returns: Shopify brands, as described on loopreturns.com and the Loop install guide.
Channel: WhatsApp and web portal
Returnit customers can start a Shopify return on WhatsApp from an order confirmation or status link, and/or from their store account.
Loop's install guide says the merchant chooses a Loop domain, which is the returns portal URL (a web address). TODO: Founder to confirm whether Loop also offers WhatsApp as the customer return channel.
South African fit
Returnit's product pages describe South African Shopify merchants. Returnit's published price is in US dollars.
Loop's pricing page lists US and Canada domestic return labels. TODO: Founder to verify whether Loop supports South African couriers or billing in ZAR.
Pricing
Returnit: Start with a 1-month free trial, then US$99/month + US$25/month per physical Shopify POS store. See the Returnit pricing page for the worked example.
Loop publishes prices on its own pricing page: https://www.loopreturns.com/pricing/ TODO: Founder to verify Loop's current public prices before quoting them.
When a merchant should choose Loop Returns
Choose Loop Returns when you want the returns portal and the exchange, label, and destination features Loop lists on its public pricing page.
Choose Returnit when you sell fashion on Shopify in South Africa and want WhatsApp-guided intake, evidence, and merchant-approved resolution and disposition (refund, exchange, store credit; relist, restock, scrap, or donate).
